    DETROIT - Seventeen-inch-wide cast aluminum wheels will be

standard equipment on the V-8-engine-powered Chevrolet Impala SS

for 1995. The five-passenger, four-door sports sedan also will

come with steel side door beams that, like those in the companion

Caprice Classic models, will help the cars meet 1997 federal

side-impact standards.
